Resources
By utilizing reusable dishware, you are promoting responsible consumption, while minimizing single use plastic waste and reducing the environmental footprint of your event! Here are a few other resources that guide sustainable practices.
Waste Diversion & Composting
Composting is crucial in helping divert organic waste from landfills and reducing methane emissions. Definitely reserve a compost bin from Plate Club, we even provide the compost bags!!
For events held on campus, here is a list of buildings with compost collection. McGill Event Support offers compost collection for events held outdoors, contact the team at special.events@mcgill.ca for the details. Additional arrangements to facilitate compost collection can often be made with building maintenance and porters.
